Melissa is passionate about using technology and entertainment to accelerate health equity. Her background spans three continents— Europe, North America, and Africa. Before founding break*through, she produced multicultural programming for global audiences. From the BBC World Service to Get Lifted, John Legend’s film/television production company— she developed expertise in building virtual-centric communities  leveraging entertainment as a vehicle for education. She graduated from the London School of Economics in 2015.
